The Eastern Nebraska Human Services Agency Over a thousand employees work for the Eastern Nebraska Human Services Agency. ENHSA includes the service providers of ENCOR, ENOA and ALPHA School. As the umbrella agency, The Eastern Nebraska Human Services Agency provides accounting, maintenance, personnel, purchasing, record keeping, and transportation supports to its service providers. The agency has the following services in the five county region of Douglas, Sarpy, Dodge, Washington and Cass in eastern Nebraska:
ENCOR was established in 1970. ENCOR provides community-based residential, respite, medical support, home based and vocational/day services for persons with developmental disabilities.
ENOA provides services for senior citizens. ENOA provides care management, eldercare information and assistance, community services, Medicaid waiver assistance, senior employment, nutrition services which include multi-purpose senior centers and home delivered meals.
Alpha school provides education and specialty mental health services for students referred from the public school districts. |
